I'm sure part of it is that race morning is less chaotic for the organizers and they need fewer volunteers, so I can understand the packet pickup the day before. I just really don't get the not letting someone else pickup for you though. I'm sure there are reasons, but I'm sure that there are simple solutions to them. I have found w/ my Sprints that they fill w/ sand very quickly on the beach and become very uncomfortable. Nothing keeps sand out 100%, but you may find that your KSO's are the better choice.LongRunrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01956850306156120852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6732884914475343155.post-10827985293686132562010-10-28T09:10:54.126-07:002010-10-28T09:10:54.126-07:00I totally agree with you. Apart from its odd looks, it also provides health benefits for our body especially the lower legs. I bought KSO a year ago and been it using until now. I love them. In fact, I'm thinking of getting another pair of Vibram maybe Classic this time and I'm going to use it as an aqua shoes because I'll be spending almost a month in one of the most popular beaches in Thailand January of next year. I can put them on in about the time it takes me to put on a regular pair of running socks. I haven't raced in them yet but I've practiced with my KSO's and I can get them on slightly faster than a pair of running socks and shoes. Even though I'm racing in the Sprints, I take KSO's to races as well in case run looks like it may be sandy in which case i'd wear them. Either way I'm saving time in transition with them, but practicing is very important.LongRunrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01956850306156120852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6732884914475343155.post-62080087760534750182010-06-19T14:44:14.102-07:002010-06-19T14:44:14.102-07:00So as a person who has a pair of VFF's - I hav...So as a person who has a pair of VFF's - I have to know - how long did it take you to put them on during transition?Lizziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00183165851692532300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6732884914475343155.post-48891395176841831032010-05-29T15:15:22.523-07:002010-05-29T15:15:22.523-07:00love this blog and this thread in particular.

Depression, the lack of confidence and loss of will can keep a person down to the point where they loose the motivation to keep trying. At the end of the day every athlete is alone on a personal journey; and if that red shirt means that have MYSELF to rely on to take back my power then paint me red and let the paint fleck off as I battle on everyday.
-DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6732884914475343155.post-74285702267342565642010-05-05T10:58:50.947-07:002010-05-05T10:58:50.947-07:00:) like the idea.
